Direct background-oriented schlieren tomography using radial basis functions

Abstract: Background-oriented schlieren tomography (BOST) is effective for flow field measurement; however, different from general computed tomography (CT), the BOST utilizes the deflection of rays passing through an inhomogeneous field for measurement.
