Abstract:A novel economic thin layer chromatographic method for stereoselective separation of racemic mixture of (RS)-Indapamide and determination of their enantiomers was done. The method was based on using normal TLC plates and cyclodextrin with hydroxylic part, was used as the chiral selector. Cyclodextrin was used as an additive in silica gel to prepare a TLC plate which was a non-covalent bonding, and there was no chiral substance added in the solvent system.
