Abstract: Strong coupling between light and matter in a microcavity can produce quasi‐particle states termed cavity‐polaritons. In cavity architectures containing more than one excitonic species, the photon mode can simultaneously couple to the different excitons, generating new ʻhybrid‐polaritonʼ states.
