Abstract: Understanding the direct initiation of detonation is crucial for developing effective detonation inhibition strategies. We numerically investigate the direct initiation of hydrogen/air detonation in a circular water cloud using the Eulerian–Lagrangian method with two-way gas–droplet coupling.
