“…The FTIR spectrum of 30 %AMP/Al-MCM-41 is shown in Figure 2 (a). For comparison, the spectrum of blank Al-MCM-41, which was prepared under similar conditions to those for AMP/Al-MCM-41 without the addition of AMP, [30] is presented in Figure 2 [14a,14c,14d] and indirectly proves that there are interactions between the silicon species and the AMP in the framework. Consequently, the Keggin unit could only be characterized by the bands of stretching modes assigned to bridging bonds.…”

“…Recently, the direct synthesis of characteristic zeolites (including ZSM-5, USY, and TES-10) using traditional chemical Si/Al sources by the hydrothermal method has been reported. However, previously reported clays were destructively activated by strong acid, high temperature (>1073 K), or alkali melting to extract the Si and/or Al sources where the crystal of the clay is no longer present in the reported recipe. In the work, the “direct synthesis” highlights that the clay (ATP) does not require deep activation before the crystallization process, which is directly used with its pristine crystal structure. Corresponding to direct synthesis, the “indirect synthesis” means that the clays were destructively activated before the crystallization process in order to obtain the effective ingredients.…”

“…Therefore, mesoporous aluminosilicate which has high surface area, thermal stability and selectivity, and a large cation exchange capacity is frequently used for acetalization [3]. Generally, aluminosilicate synthesized from chemical reagents is relatively expensive and toxic like TMOS (tetramethyl orthosilicate), TEOS (tetraethyl orthosilicate), and sodium aluminate [4][5][6][7]. Recently, many researchers used natural mineral kaolinite which is naturally available as raw material/precursor in aluminosilicate synthesis [5,[8][9][10].…”
