Discovering the Polaris Fault, Martis Creek Dam, Truckee, California

Abstract: Martis Creek Dam, located in the Truckee Basin north of Lake Tahoe, CA, was initially rated as one of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ highest risk dams in the United States.
