Abstract:DNA methyltransferase 1 (DNMT1) is an attractive therapeutic target for acute myelocytic leukemia (AML) and other malignancies. It has been reported that the genetic depletion of DNMT1 inhibited AML cell proliferation through reversing DNA methylation abnormalities.
