Discovery of novel S. aureus autolysins and molecular engineering to enhance bacteriolytic activity

Abstract: Staphylococcus aureus is a dangerous bacterial pathogen whose clinical impact has been amplified by the emergence and rapid spread of antibiotic resistance.
