Dislocation ensemble behaviour under random mechanical stress influence

Abstract

Within the framework of a continuous dislocation distribution the behaviour of a dislocation ensemble under the influence of randomly distributed stochastic mechanical stresses is considered. It is shown by means of a computer experiment that the system of edge dislocations tends very much to an arrangement in the form of tilt boundaries and the evolution path for the whole system is defined by the casual situation in some local ensemble regions at the initial stages of stochastic influences.
