Abstract: Smith‐Lemli‐Opitz syndrome (SLOS) is the most common and best understood of the inborn errors of cholesterol metabolism. Comprising a heterogeneous group of disorders, inborn errors in cholesterol biosynthesis result in characteristic but variable phenotypes.
