Abstract:BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: For patients with large-vessel occlusion, mechanical thrombectomy (MT) without IV-tPA is a proved strategy. The relative benefit of direct MT versus MT1IV-tPA for patients with indications for IV-tPA is being actively investigated.
