Abstract: Anaphylaxis is a life-threatening condition that involves severe cutaneous, respiratory, and cardiovascular symptoms. Disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) is an acquired, widespread activation of coagulation that can be caused by infectious conditions (e.g., sepsis) and noninfectious conditions.
