Dissemination of Reactivated Coccidioidomycosis Inducing Diffuse Alveolar Damage: A Rare Autopsy Case Report

Abstract: Coccidioidomycosis is a fungal infection prevalent in the Southwestern United States and Northern Mexico. Given its rarity and often asymptomatic nature, disseminated coccidioidomycosis frequently omitted in preliminary differential diagnoses.
