Dissipative sampled‐data control of uncertain nonlinear systems with time‐varying delays

Abstract: This article investigates the delay‐dependent robust dissipative sampled‐data control problem for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems with both differentiable and non‐differentiable time‐varying delays. The main purpose of this article is to design a retarded robust control law such that the resulting closed‐loop system is strictly (Q, S, R)‐dissipative. By introducing a suitable Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and using free weighting matrix approach, some sufficient conditions for the solvability of the ad… Show more

“…Consequently, much consideration has been given to the stabilization and tracking control of these systems . Several control methods such as output‐feedback control, fuzzy control, L 2 − L ∞ ‐based control, H ∞ ‐based control, Lyapunov‐based approach, and sliding mode control (SMC) have been considered in designing suitable stabilizers and trackers for descriptor/singular systems with time delays.…”

“…Since modeling errors cannot be avoided in the practical systems, the uncertainties and disturbance usually exist in the system model. ere are many results focused on the robust control for the system with the uncertainty and disturbance ( [10][11][12]). In particular, the robust RHC is a hot topic in recent years (see, e.g., [13][14][15][16]).…”

“…A lot of significant results for the state feedback RHC with uncertainty have appeared in the literature ( [17][18][19][20]). Besides, time delays usually exist in dynamic systems ( [10,21]). e presence of time delays often leads to oscillation and instability of the closed-loop system.…”

“…It renders the control more reliable and handy in real world problems. In [29], one studied dissipative sampled-data control of uncertain nonlinear systems with timevarying delays, and so on [30][31][32][33][34]. Meanwhile, pinning control has been introduced to deal with the problem of large number of controllers added to large size of neural network structure [35][36][37][38][39].…”
