This study aims to examine the effect of management experts, professional skepticism and professional ethics on the auditor's ability to detect fraud with intelligence emotional as a moderating variable. This research was conducted at the Makassar City Inspectorate. This research is an explanatory study with a quantitative approach. The study used a saturated sample method with a sample of 25 people. Analysis data in this research using multiple regression analysis with absolute difference value. The results of multiple analysis show that management experts, professional skepticism and professional ethics have a positive and significant effect on the auditor's ability to detect fraud. The result of the analysis show that emotional intelligence is able to moderate expert management and professional skepticism towards the auditor's ability to detect fraud, while emotional intelligence does not moderate professional ethics on the auditor's ability to detect fraud.

Access to higher education has been relatively addressed well globally, while student success rate remains a serious concern, given several issues around quality. This study therefore aims to explore the role of epistemic access for effective teaching and learning in higher education and it is keen to account student's experiences and views on regular and distance programmes. A questionnaire using google form was instrumented to gather both quantitative and qualitative data among students and graduates in the state of Tamil Nadu in India. Statistical analysis was used for quantitative data, while thematic analysis was used for qualitative data. The results confirm the theoretical claim that the pursuit of authentic knowledge is adequate when epistemic access is ensured. The study recommends that higher educational institutions offering both modes must fulfil their epistemic duties by ensuring epistemic access to students. In general, the participants in the study agreed that the regular university programmes are more conducive for epistemic access, while distance education has other advantages such as flexibility and affordability. The study contents that both modes have merits and demerits. It is, therefore, necessary that both are available at good qualities for students to benefit from them.

The purpose of the study is to identify the features of ensuring the competitiveness of distance business education and modern trends in the development of the field of educational services and the role of digital technologies and project management in these processes. General scientific and special methods are used: historical-logical grouping (systematization of electronic learning system elements, distance education, approaches of project management etc.); generalization (understanding of modern role and evaluation of distance education and e-learning resources, digitalization processes). It has been proven that such an alternative to traditional formal education is more closely correlated with the demands of the labour market, allows to better and more quickly meet the needs of employers, and for employees to ensure their professional development throughout their life and to apply their competencies in the countries of the European Union. Approaches to project management in distance business education are described. It has been established that project management in business education has a scientific basis based on pedagogical theories and researches, which supports active, collaborative and critical learning, and also promotes the development of skills that are important in today's information society and the labour market.
