Abstract: El arroz rojo (Oryza sativa) es la maleza más dañina en los campos arroceros de todo el mundo, debido a su agresividad y difícil manejo (Diarra 1985). El color rojizo de su pericarpio o del grano entero (debido a la presencia de antocianinas), varía dependiendo de la variedad.
