Distribuição Espaço-Temporal Da Produtividade Média Do Café Em Minas Gerais: 1997-2006

Show more

“…The regions with higher productivity in the first years influenced positively their neighbors with lower productivity, a movement that has repeated itself over the years, increasing the average productivity in the state. This result was also found by Almeida et al (2006) studying the microregions of Minas Gerais between 2000and 2004and Teixeira and Bertella (2015 analyzing the same microregions but between 1997 and 2006. Given the influence of regions with higher productivity over those with lower productivity, the result was a tendency of homogenization of productivity throughout the state.…”

“…The spatial-temporal distributions of agricultural production have several manifestations according to the producing regions, geographical ordering, spatial dispersion, and the dispute over the growth of agricultural frontiers or the formation of farm belts [18]. Several studies of the temporal-spatial analysis of agricultural products have been carried out in Brazil, mainly at state scale.…”

“…Several studies of the temporal-spatial analysis of agricultural products have been carried out in Brazil, mainly at state scale. These include studies of the agricultural production in State of Minas Gerais (MG) during the period 1996-2006 [19]; average coffee productivity in MG (1997)(1998)(1999)(2000)(2001)(2002)(2003)(2004)(2005)(2006) [18]; productivity of the Brazilian agricultural sector (1991)(1992)(1993)(1994)(1995)(1996)(1997)(1998)(1999)(2000)(2001)(2002)(2003) [13]; bean and corn productivity from family farming in the State of Paraná (PR) (2000)(2001)(2002)(2003)(2004)(2005)(2006)(2007)(2008)(2009)(2010); canola culture in the PR (2005)(2006)(2007)(2008)(2009) [20]; and the soybean production in the PR during the harvests (2003/2004-2007/2008) [21]; and expansion of sugarcane in the State of São Paulo (SP) [22].…”
