Abstract:Distributed desynchronization approaches lead to time-division multiple access (TDMA) of the shared medium without requiring a central coordinator. All such methods are based on the principle of reactive listening of periodic fire messages. The advantage of distributed desynchronization (DESYNC-TDMA) is the fact that it comprises a decentralized approach of very low complexity. It is therefore of significant interest to attempt to implement DESYNC-TDMA in an actual network. In this paper, we propose distribute… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
