“…It has a worldwide distribution, being present in all oceans from 621S to 621N, with the exception of the North Pacific, where it is replaced by its sister species, Antimora microlepis (Small, 1981;Turnov, 1992). A. rostrata is found at depths of 200 to 3000 m although abundance seems to peak at depths 41400 m (Fossen and Bergstad, 2006).
