Distribution and Habitat Preference of Four-horned antelope (Chowsingha), in Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary, Rajasthan

Abstract: Four-horned Antelopes, commonly known as Chowsingha, are unique mammals. Unfortunately the reports on its distribution patter and habitat preferences are still scanty from south Rajasthan. The present study is an attempt to f ill up such gaps of this animal in Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary. Results revealed that Chowsingha is present in only four forests blocks out of Thirty four.
