“…This type of waste can be implemented as organic fertilizer, valuable in nitrogen and others macronutrients [CHENG et al 2007]. However, taking into account numerous requirements of environmental management, sewage sludge become a problem [HARRISON et al 2006;KHADHAR et al 2010]. “…Le bassin versant du Golfe de Tunis est drainé par un réseau hydrographique ramifié, caractérisé par quatre écoule-ments principaux: la Medjerda, le canal El Khlij, la Méliane et l'Oued El Bey. D'une manière générale, les cours d'eau constituent l'exutoire naturel des eaux de ruissellement mais aussi des effluents domestiques, des effluents industriels et des rejets du drainage agricole, qui peuvent contenir plusieurs type de polluants métalliques et organiques tels que les hydrocarbures aromatiques polycycliques (Khadhar et al 2010) et qui sont parfois insuffisamment épurés. En conséquence, les eaux des oueds du bassin versant du Golfe de Tunis sont le plus souvent de qualité physico-chimique et bactériologique médiocre et sujette à des variations importantes et brutales.…”
