Nevertheless, there are only few reports regarding status of contamination of these organisms either for Mediterranean Sea (Storelli et al 2003(Storelli et al , 2011Storelli 2008) or other marine areas (Miao et al 2000;Takahashi et al 2001;Tanabe et al 2005 (Mediterranean Sea). The toxicological significance of these levels and a comparison of concentrations to those reported for other marine organisms are also discussed.…”
