Abstract:We consider a nonautonomous predator-prey model with nonmonotonic functional response in the periodic environment. Some new sufficient conditions are obtained for the nonexistence of periodic solutions and the global existence of at least one or two positive periodic solutions. Our method is based on Mawhin's coincidence degree and novel estimation techniques for the priori bounds of unknown solutions. Some novel estimation techniques are employed for the priori bounds of unknown solutions to Lz = lNz, which a… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
