Diversity and Distribution Pattern of the Genus Calothrix Agardh Ex Bornet Et Flahault: A Heteropolar Cyanoprokaryote From Tripura, India

Abstract

The present communication deals with the biodiversity and distribution pattern of unbranched, filamentous, heterocystous, diazotrophic, heteropolar and uniseriate blue green algal genus Calothrix Agardh ex Bornet et Flahault from Tripura. In the present paper, we reported total 19 species of the genus Calothrix including one forma and one var.
