Diversity, distribution, development, and evolution of medullary bundles in Nyctaginaceae

Abstract: Premise Medullary bundles, i.e., vascular units in the pith, have evolved multiple times in vascular plants. However, no study has ever explored their anatomical diversity and evolution within a phylogenetic framework.
