Abstract:Persicaria sagittata L. (common name Arrowleaf tearthumb, American) is an herbaceous edible plant with characteristics sessile leaves mainly found in wetland areas of North America and Eastern Asia.In Eastern Himalayan Region of India, the ethnic communities consumed this plant as vegetables.
