Do high levels of Amylase following laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy predict devastating complications?

Abstract: Background Gastric leak post laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSG) is a severe complication that may lead to sepsis and even to patient's death. Early diagnosis and treatment are critical.
