Do Two-Party Systems Hamper Defection from Undemocratic Candidates?

Abstract: Do the electoral constraints imposed by two-party systems make citizens less likely to defect from undemocratic candidates? I employ two innovative candidate choice experiments fielded in England to answer this question.
