Abstract:A novel direction of arrival (DOA) estimation method based on data level Multistage Nested Wiener Filters (MSNWF) which is used to adaptive beamforming for subarray signal is proposed in this paper. The subarrays using the same array geometry are used to form a signal whose phase relative to the reference signal is a function of the DOA. The DOA is estimated by computing the phase shift between the reference signal and its phase-shifted version. The performance of this DOA estimation method is significantly im… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
