Does Audit Committee Disclosure of Partner-Selection Involvement Signal Greater Audit Quality?

Abstract: We investigate whether audit committees use voluntary disclosures to signal the committees’ higher level of involvement in the audit partner-selection process, which contributes to higher levels of audit quality.
