Abstract:Yes. Adult patients who had a previous SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) infection seem to have a significantly lower risk of another infection for 1-10 months compared with patients who have not been previously infected (SOR B: systematic review of cohort studies, 2 prospective cohort studies, surveillance study). A protective effect of 77% from reinfection is observed in patients with a history of COVID-19 infection (SOR B: surveillance study).
