“…The consensus group criteria utilize three established stages of sarcopenia classification; Presarcopenia is defined as having low Appendicular Lean Mass (ALM)/height 2 only, sarcopenia was defined with low Appendicular Lean Mass/height 2 (<5.67 kg/m 2 ) and the presence of low gait speed (≤0.8 m/s) or low grip strength (<20 kg) and severe sarcopenia classification requires low ALM/height 2 , gait speed, and grip strength.
