Does Periodontal Disease Reflect Atherosclerosis in Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis Patients?

Abstract: Periodontal health is poor in CAPD patients and correlates with markers of malnutrition, inflammation, and atherosclerosis. The diagnosis and treatment of periodontal diseases require better awareness.
