Abstract:Background/Objectives: There exist three principal treatment modalities employed in the management of hyperthyroidism attributable to excessive hormone secretion by the thyroid gland: antithyroid pharmacotherapy, surgical intervention, and radioactive iodine (RAI) therapy.
