Don’t just call me Latinx: A Call for Data Disaggregation to Disrupt Monolith Views

Abstract: This paper aims to illuminate how and to what extent non-disaggregated data continues to perpetuate and reproduce the oppression of people of colour within the Latinx community (Freire, 1998), who lay at an intersection of identities (Crenshaw, 1991).
