Abstract:The double doped unit cell of La 2− Ca 1+ Cu 2 O 6+ (LCCO-52) consists of two chemical formulas, La 2 CaCu 2 O 7 and Ca 3 Cu 2 O 6 which are responsible for the occurrence of superconductivity with n = 2 superconducting CuO 2 planes per chemical formula. The distance x between double doped unit cells projected into a CuO 2 plane matches the experimental transition temperature T c quite well.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
