“…Pada tanaman, K berperan pada berbagai proses biokimia dan fisiologi tanaman seperti fotosintesis, aktivasi enzim, sintesis protein, regulasi osmotik, pergerakan stomata, transport floem, mengatur keseimbangan kation-anion dalam tanaman, dan ketahanan tanaman terhadap stres biotik maupun abiotik (Walters dan Bingham 2007;Wang et al 2013).
