Abstract: Doxorubicin (DOX) is a potent chemotherapeutic agent. Unfortunately, due to the incidence of dose-dependent cardiotoxicity, its clinical usage is hampered. Natural products are gaining popularity as a means of preventing DOX-induced cardiotoxicity.
