-As the next generation of flat panel displays, OLED displays have a variety of outstanding features and advantages. At present, OLED display technology is a hotspot in the display technology research in the world. In addition, there are a large number of small and medium size OLED displays used in portable devices, and the manufacturing technology of large-size OLED display is maturing. An image display control system is designed for the PMOLED display. The system uses dedicated PMOLED display driver chip packaged by TAB and have advantages of easy driving and high reliability. Oxide TFT has advantages of better mobility, stability and uniformity, which is one of the most powerful competitors of active substrate technology. In this paper, a video display control system based on AMOLED display driver circuit of metal oxide TFT substrate is designed. The system uses TFT-LCD driver chip of COG package in place of AMOLED display dedicated driver chip, which has advantages of easy achievement and cheap and meets the needs of initial research and development of AMOLED display. The system takes DVI interface as the video signal transmission interface, and takes FPGA as a scan and data driver chip timing controller with reusable and flexible features. Video display control system has achieved a 7-inch 320x3x240 pixel AMOLED display real-time dynamic video display with 64 grayscale and 60Hz frame rate, and the display is good.

Abstract-Organic light emitting diode (OLED) display is a self-illuminating device that is supposed to be power efficient than liquid crystal display (LCD). However, OLED display panels consume as much power as LCD panels due to total internal refection. As the power consumption of the OLED panel depends on the pixel colors, most previous power saving methods alter the pixel colors. In practice, such OLED power saving techniques can hardly accommodate photo viewers and movie players. This paper introduces the first OLED power saving technique that dynamically changes the supply voltage of the panel. Reduced supply voltage results in both power saving and decreased pixel luminance, but model-based color correction restores the decreased luminance with minimum color distortion. This technique is similar to dynamic backlight scaling of LCDs but is based on the unique characteristics of the OLED drivers. We provide an online color compensation algorithm using the luminance histogram. Luminance quantization in the histogram also achieves resource minimization. We develop a prototype and demonstrate the proposed OLED dynamic voltage scaling (DVS). Experimental result shows that the proposed OLED DVS saves up to 74.7% of the display power for the still images and up to 35.9% for movie clips.

LED lamps are projected as prospective successors of incandescent lamps with high efficiency and a long lifetime. Therefore, there is a need to develop energy efficient LED driver topologies for achieving constant current regulation, despite the effects of temperature on the LED V-I characteristics. This paper presents the salient features of various LED driver topologies with a focus on power density, multi-string operation, renewable energy utilization, soft switching, optical wireless communication, reliability and size. The performance of the above topologies is analysed in terms of the number of components, converter switching frequency, galvanic isolation, power rating and efficiency. This paper takes a look at efficiency improvement methods while dwelling on aspects of lifetime and reliability prediction of LED drivers. The paper will anticipate some of the future trends associated with the adaptation of wide bandgap power semiconductor materials, smart LED lighting for the internet of things (IoT) and programmable LED lamp drivers. This detailed technology review is extremely useful for researchers, designers and engineers in choosing the right topology.
