“…In China, many scholars have used the LMDI method to analyze the drivers of carbon emissions related to crop production on a national or regional basis. For instance, Li et al [40] pointed out that agricultural economic growth in China had a strong driving effect on carbon emissions, while agricultural production efficiency, agricultural structure, and labor force had certain inhibiting effects on carbon emissions during 1993-2008; Li et al [2] quantified the contributions of factors influencing agricultural carbon emissions in China from 1991 to 2015 and found that the driving factors varied significantly by region.
