Droplet dispersal in decontamination areas of instrument reprocessing suites

Abstract: Background: Personnel working in sterile processing or endoscope reprocessing departments are at high risk of exposure to tissue, blood, and patient fluids when decontaminating reusable medical instruments and equipment.
