Drug Discovery in Non‐Life‐Threatening Disorders: Erectile Dysfunction, Insomnia, and Smoking Cessation

Abstract

Drug discovery for non‐life‐threatening disorders is an active area of medicinal chemistry research. This chapter will describe the discovery and properties of phosphodiesterase 5 inhibitors for erectile dysfunction, the medicinal chemistry of agents for treatment of insomnia, and smoking cessation.
