Drug-induced hypersensitivity syndrome induced by propylthiouracil: case report and literature review

Abstract: Background Drug-induced hypersensitivity syndrome (DIHS) is a rare, potentially life-threatening systemic drug reaction. Antithyroid drugs (ATDs) causing DIHS have seldom been reported before.
