Abstract: Malnutrition is usually complex. many deficiencies occurring simultaneously. Changes occur in almost every organ oj the body. Apart jrom the pathophysiological changes which occur in protein-calorie malnutrition. vitamin. mineral and trace element deficiency is accompanied by diverse metabolic changes in tissues.
