Abstract: A gas-liquid chromatographic (GLC) procedure has been developed for the assay and identification of amobarbital, butabarbital, heptabarbital, mephobarbital, pentobarbital, phenobarbital, and secobarbital in single component capsule, elixir, injectable, suppository, and tablet formulations.
