DSP based IFO control of HEV fed through impedance source inverter

Abstract

This paper aims to achieve the good performances of speed control of the electric vehicle (induction motor) fed Zsource inverter using DSP controller. The electric vehicle (EV) drive must feature fast control response, high efficiency over wide speed and torque ranges. The control technique is a combination of indirect field oriented control (IFOC) and double space vector pulse width modulation (DSVPWM) which combines the advantages of both and simultaneously eliminates certain implementation difficulties. The proposed control method is verified with simulation and the results are analyzed using DSP (TMS320F28335).
