Abstract:Potocatalytic hydrogen evolution represnets a promising way to achieve renewable energy sources. Dual heterojunctions with an inverse opal structure are proposed for addressing fundamental challenges (low surface area, inefficient light absorption, and poor charge separation) in photocatalytic water splitting.
