Dual Kidney-Inspired Algorithm for Water Quality Prediction and Cancer Detection

Abstract: The kidney-inspired algorithm (KA) was presented in a recent research paper as a metaheuristic search algorithm. The KA imitates the physiological process of the kidneys in the human body. The second kidney in the human body filters all the solutes if the other kidney fails. If the second kidney also gets damaged, dialysis can be performed as a treatment. The failure of a kidney is proved by the Glomerular Filtration Rate (GFR) calculation. In this paper, a Dual-population Kidney-inspired Algorithm (Dual-KA), … Show more

“…Taqi and Ali [22] presented a kidney-inspired algorithm, which is one of the modern approaches employed to enhance classification accuracy in a multi-algorithm problem for feature selection. Abdullah and Jaddi [23] proposed a dual-population KA system that can be used for water quality prediction and cancer diagnosis. Homaid et al [24] proposed an application using KA for pairwise testing, which was used to reduce the cost of assessing software.…”

“…The main focus of deep learning techniques in this pandemic situation is to real time monitoring. To prevent virus spread and limit the clinical resources in the rapid evaluation of COVID-19, the CXR is used to diagnosis and managing patient [13]. Patch-based framework with neural network train the data more stable and mapped to local neural network for finding the radiation which is compared with the trained and proposed SOTA method.…”

“…Meta-heuristics (or approximate algorithms), therefore, are widely used to deal with large scale problem instances [4]. These algorithms are able achieve good results within acceptable amount of time [13], [14], [15], [16], [17], [18]. In the literature, different hybrid meta-heuristic algorithms that combine two or more algorithms have been proposed to address UPMSP.…”
