Abstract:A water-induced electron-deficient dye, the supramolecule
perylene
diimide (PDI), has been identified recently. PDI possesses advantages
such as easy reduction, nontoxicity, low cost, and simple preparation,
making it a promising candidate for electrochemiluminescence (ECL)
