Dual role of monocyte‐derived dendritic cells in Trypanosoma cruzi infection

Abstract: Pathogens can cause inflammation when inoculated into the skin. The vector-transmitted protozoan parasite Trypanosoma cruzi induces poor cellular-infiltration and disseminates, causing high mortality in the experimental model.
